I found myself watching the planes on the runway at Barajas airport, trying to control my anxiety because I knew that some very intense days were waiting for me on an island that is very dear to me.

In the year 2022, I had the opportunity to visit 16 countries spread across 3 different continents, Europe, Africa, and America. As I have to juggle editing photos and writing texts for each location with studying for the upcoming college exams, I decided to make a compilation with a photo of each place visited that I leave here.

The Algarve coast and in particular, the Ria Formosa, presents phenomenal landscapes, full of fauna and flora. Here, in the Cacela Velha area, the famous Algarve estuary begins, which extends to the Faro area.

Throughout the description of this trip, I sometimes spoke of Almofala. This remote village was our starting point for all these adventures that I have been relating. Located in the district of Guarda, municipality of Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, very close to the border with Spain, it is a peaceful village typical of the interior of our country.
